Late September 2022
Our first stop in Vermont was an alpaca farm. The owner was very talkative and you had to be careful not to call them llamas. For dinner we had one of the best pizzas in the U.S.(according to B.O.B. - he thinks it was the cheese that made it the best)
Our next stop was near St. Johnsbury, were we went to the largest corn maze in New England. We had tons of fun exploring the maze and we were lucky we made it out in time. At the maze, they had a fun replica town that we got to play in. We even tried their crazy version of mini golf, which included putting with with canes and launching golf balls with a slingshot.
We went on an day trip adventure to the town of Waterbury. We enjoyed apple cider at the Cold Hollow Cider Mill. There were even warm donuts to have with the cider! Our next stop was the Ben and Jerry's factory. The factory tour tickets were all sold out, but we still enjoyed the delicious ice cream. Later in the afternoon we found a street magician and B.O.B. was asked to participate.
At the RV park where we were staying, they had a Halloween party even though it was still September. There were two pools we could swim in; one was heated and one was cold. We borrowed some games from the rec room to play for Pickles' birthday. We enjoyed brownie ice cream sundaes for her b-day and for our 100th day trip anniversary.
We spent 16 total days in Vermont - and our next stay will be Maine
